The real reasons strippers strip

Just like David Letterman has his top 10 list, here is the list of the top 10 reasons strippers strip:

10. For the money...I don’t know how to be any more clear.
There are some men out there (a few women too) complaining that all “those women” are interested in is money… Yeah? And?
The point is that this idea is just ridiculous. You wouldn’t hold it against your doctor for sending you a bill after treatment, would you? You might assume that this doctor got into the business of medicine initially with altruistic intentions (I wouldn’t necessarily, but as a point of comparison), but you wouldn’t expect him to treat you for free just because you have a nice rapport.Likewise you expect your waitress to be just “in it for the money” when she brings your food, although, she may be nice to you. As a matter of fact, you expect her to be nice to you, and you become very irate when she is not. And for her troubles, she receives a tip. This is the agreement you enter into when you dine out. Nobody harbors hostilities about the arrangement.
And so I ask, what is it that makes men (women) so hostile towards strippers for their single-minded approach to sustenance? I’d say its about power. It is always about power.

if a doctor saw somebody in need of their help outside of "work" i.e. heart attack, they would perform cpr
i don't want to offend but, i bet most paramedics would be doctors if they could, but they continue at there jobs anyways
there r entire organizations of doctors who volunteer their time and actually endure hardships, volunteering in war zones, disaster areas etc to help the people who need it the most but cannot get any aid
how many strippers do u know of who have "volunteered their services" to the neediest i.e. the ugliest, meanest men who can never get any boob otherwise?

on November 5, 2009I actually got driven off the rail last weekend at Silk. The same 18-yr old came back to me three times in one song for a tip (I gave her $2 the first time, $1 for the standard and another as bonus for her Halloween effort, then $1 at a time thereafter.) That's how slow it was. As the gals were working two-song sets, I fled to the sanctity of the bar before song #2 began for fear she'd clean me out.
