Would like to write a blog on the psychology of competition after a few years , as internal competition and Wordly success are often considered to be mutually exclusive, which I believe negatively impacts the quality of education received by each child.
I'm not making an argument against "the rat race" , I'm making an argument for how people from an early age are taught to win it.
Once you recognize that your internal growth can literally drive the competition of whatever you are pursuing in the world (if you're in the right market/niche to start with) , it'll be hard not to priortize being consistent daily over anything else
Kids are taught from an early age to think about the outcome. That's important , but the moment you prioritize the outcome over the internal growth that is necessary to obtain it is when you tell yourself that you are less capable. Can't really perform at your best with that kind of mentality . And then same kids receive criticism from parents, coaches, teachers, etc when they don't win certain games or get certain jobs...hmm..I wonder why that is? Lmao.
