Stripper Talent: Old Vs New

Working in the industry you know the clubs have a High turnover ratio. In my area Centerfolds is still the top club followed by Deja Vu and Pure Gold. Yes Club Fantasy is still open but only on select days. That however doesn't matter not for this article anyway.
It's important for clubs to always add new talent and keep fresh faces for the customers who are new and some of the old ones enjoy it as well. However when you add so much new talent it takes away from the girls who have been working in the club for not only months but years. When you hire girls who shouldn't be dancing it also takes away from customers wanting to come back. News Flash Guys like it when the girl doesn't suck at lap dancing.

For new girls to come in and want to make as much money as they can even if it means undercutting the girls who work hard and play by the same rules as everyone. NO Girl should dance for less than $20-$25. Some of the new girls think it's great to dance for $5 per light or even $10 plus the $5 for the light that the club gets.

Girls are there to make money but when a guy comes in and they just decide to sit there on their phones and then complain they didn't make money that's not anyone's fault but your own. Grant it Not all guys are going to spend money on you. Hell some guys just show up pay the cover and watch TV. Um you know you can watch TV at home and it won't cost you anything.
Just remember guys you're there to have a good time and the girls are there to make sure of it. Bring your cash. Leave your credit cards at home or in the car and enjoy the show.

Girls we all know why you are there but lets play by the same rules as everyone and charge the right prices. Work with the older girls to teach you the ropes and watch the money come in. Don't sell yourself short because it makes you look bad and it's hurting you as well as the other girls who have been doing it a hell of a lot longer than you. You're better than just $5

If not for 2 for 20 a few years ago I never would have bought my first dance.

Service and song length matter too

mdb, who's side are you on ? Of course we all want new girls coming in to undercut the cost. If there is limited supply, then our hobby becomes too costly for us mongers.

Front Room Makeout Sessions, then when it is time for your own pants to come down, you invite her to the back room.

Pretty-much every club I've hit over the 100+ clubs I've visited (I clubbed for 10 years prior to joining TUSCL), the dance-price was set by the club and it was very rare for a dancer to offer a dance for less than the club price (once in a blue moon in a very slow club I may have a dancer offer me a 2-for-1 to entice me but it's def not the norm IME).

I like variety and prefer more dancers vs less dancers - it sucks when it's a sausage fest in a club - a club like that will likely lose my business altogether - I also like variety of types of women/dancers, thus the more dancers the better chance of having different types of dancers - I don't like clubs where most dancers look the same (e.g. skinny bleached-blonds w/ fake-tits) - I can understand the opposite of a sausage-fest being bad for dancers (i.e. more dancers than custies); but a happy medium can often be achieved.

Every club kinda has its M.O. as to how easy or hard it is for dancers to sell dances - IME clubs w/ lower dance costs (e.g. $10) I see more dances being sold, vs clubs w/ very high dance prices ($30 or $40) where it seems it takes a lot more effort to get custies to buy dances - i.e. I'm not totally convinced that higher dance prices necessarily lead to more $$$ for the dancers, but again not all clubs are the same but in general in clubs w/ lower-cost dances I notice dancers being constantly more busy selling dances - I know for myself if I"m in a $10/dance club I will not think too hard about trying a dancer I may be on the fence about, but in clubs w/ $20+ dances I am def more choosy about getting dances and I pull the trigger much less often and if on the fence about a dancer then more often than not I'll pass and save my $$$ for someone else or just go home w/ my $$$, vs giving more dancers a chance.

When I started clubbing VIP was 5 for 100 but when it was slow it wasn't unusual for girls to offer 5 for 80. Bumping it up to 6 for 100 was super common as well.

Years later it's still 5 for 100 buy discounting is much more rare, especially since single dances are nominally 20. Some dancers still grandfather in 2 for 20 for steady regulars.

i’m much more likely to buy a dance if it is priced $10 or perhaps two for 20 (especially for a nude dance.)

I remember the first time I got hired at a hustle club in Austin. The manager told me “dances are $20, do not overcharge.”

I remember the first time I got hired at a mid tier club in San Antonio. The manager told me “dances are $20, do not undercut.”

So I assume dancer behavior depends very much on the club culture. But one thing I’d like to point out, when you see that new girl talking to somebody you know is a creep—or when she’s doing something you consider cringeworthy, do you personally do anything to give her gentle constructive criticism? Steer her to nicer customers? Explain the “unwritten” rules of the club?

Nobody ever did that with me. And I’ve never done that with a new dancer.

I’d imagine it would be very possible to have influence on vulnerable new girls. But to do that you have to be actually concerned about their well-being rather than worried about them snatching your money. Do you have the leadership capability for that? I know I don’t.

I just looked into your profile, and you have posted on the discussion board before and flag has trolled you before :o So wait...you’re not a dancer then? From the time of the article, I assumed you were

Mdb2203 I agree with some of your points here. It's absolutely crappy for a girl to undercut prices drastically selling dances for $5. On the same token I think it's crappy for some dancers to try to charge $40/dance drastically overcharging. $5/dance is bad for the other dancers, but $40/dance in a place where 20/25 is the norm is a ripoff for the customer. That's why I prefer clubs with a set price for dances.

Also I know your history. Your club of choice is Pure Gold where your best friend and favorite dancer works. So I know when you post you're posting with her best interests at heart. Hence why you say 'guys leave the credit cards at home and bring cash'. You're not saying that because you're looking out for the guys to not got ripped off on their credit card. You're saying it because it's better for the girls to get tipped in cash plain and simple. You're saying for the new girls to accept the guidance of veteran dancers because your best friend/favorite is a veteran dancer. But how is that new girl supposed to know if this veteran dancer's advice is for her benefit, or more for the benefit of the veteran herself? We've heard from other dancers how competitive the job is so it must be tough for a new girl to be thrust into all that and know who to trust.

It sounds like the situation over at Pure Gold is you have an influx of new girls who are selling themselves short. Which sucks and they shouldn't but this article seems to only address a problem that happens in clubs where there is no set dance price. Which thankfully doesn't seem like the norm.
