Ever got caught up in or witnessed any political disagreements in a club?

Just because of how the past couple of years has been, I’m sure there has to be stories here lol. Here is something from a few days ago: This happened between a dancer and a customer. The dancer was ridiculously drunk and loudly proclaimed the reasons why she voted for Biden. One of the Trump supporting customers got equally belligerent right back, and eventually got heated enough to angrily proclaim that he was going to come back and burn the club down because of how Democrat it is. I thought it was pretty funny because he was from blue state Minnesota. I guess he didn’t notice there is a literal small pro-Trump sticker close to the entrance of the club where anybody can see it lol Anyways, that club is still intact 🤷🏻‍♀️

People have asked before about talking to other strip club patrons. I do not even talk to them, not even listen to them. SJG

Never politics, though I had one man attempt to convince me to return to the Catholicism of my youth.

Never. Outside of the internet and Youtube videos, I rarely if ever hear anything about politics unless it's family or coworkers

No - but I was in a club once where a serous melee did take place. Chairs being thrown. It started the old fashioned way - jealousy over a girl. It was a long time before snowflakes and Karen’s became so pervasive

Don't think I've ever seen anything belligerent about politics, socio-economic issues, etc., but the little Mexican-Irish girl I liked LOVED Trump. She was always talking to me about him. Thought it was kinda funny. A couple Fridays ago I was at the place by my house, sitting on a barstool enjoying a whiskey in the early evening, when some shit-faced dude takes the seat next to me instead of two seats down (party foul), immediately starts yapping to me about crypto, and for the next hour wouldn't shut the fuck up about it...as he got shit-faced-ER and kept repeating himself. Finally, nature called and as soon as he got up to piss, a Cuban angel swooped in and rescued me. God bless you, Communism, for forcing her out of Cuba and into Glendale, Arizona.

No never an argument really. But look if I’m drinking I’m going to be making fun of lefty politicians. It’s too easy. There are people around that may not like it but it what it is. When you live in a blue city that produces some of the dumbest people of all time Al Sharpton, AOC, De Blasio, Criminal worshipping DA’s etc. I just can’t help myself. Pussy will shit me though, just an FYI to all my liberal leaning strippers.

I am presently in Seattle. On Monday of this current week the vaccine card check went into effect, meaning you can’t get in restaurants, sports events, etc without your vax card. I think most people in Sea are of the mindset that the vaccine is good and have gotten it—a small number of folks have been turned away from entry. Last week and prior however: man, I really had to keep my yapper shut a few times when customers started telling me their vaccine conspiracy theories. 😐😐😐

Why would you want to argue politics in a strip club? Isn't that the one place we can all forget about red vs blue and focus on green money and pink pussy?

Caught up in one?... no. I only look that stupid. I did see one instance where I heard two guys start shouting at each other and it was definitely political. A manager and a bouncer interceded without force. Apparently, they were given the option to sit at different bars or leave. They sat at different bars. There's a couple of dancers that I know well enough to skate along the edge of getting into politics, but it's never been the central focus of what I'd talk to a dancer about. Where the lines get blurry is COVID, because it is essentially a health issue as well as a political issue, and it directly affects clubbing. So, if COVID comes up, I'll start by letting the dancer know that I'm not going to get angry or insulting if my opinions differ wildly from hers, but that I expect the same from her. Otherwise, we should talk about other things. That usually works out, and I've had some constructive chats about things related to COVID with dancers that I did and did not agree with.

One of the lowest earning girls at a club i go to js a staunch Trump supporters anti vaxxer q anon type. She also mixes Molly snd coke and picks pockets. Her ig is bs like the republikkkans on here. Then there's a hard-core libertarian gilf that has a 5ft 6 bowlegged stuttering boyfriend in his 30s. Most girls I know are progressive and get off on playing guys who bore them with right wing bs. Except one. Her family is illegal but her boyfriend is a Trump supporter scamming unemployment. I've had a few good political conversations in clubs and always avoid republikkkans in my personal life

So, not exactly IN the club. A year or two ago, I went to see an ATF for OTC. She's a pretty long dive from me, another town. She didn't answer the door or her phone, later said she was passed out on Hennessy. So, I figured I'd check out the SC in that town. As it so happened, Stormy Daniels was feature dancing there that night. She looks better than most people in their 40s (sorry to damn with faint praise Stormy). Somebody, who presumably feels Stormy done Cheetolini wrong, smashed the front door of the club. But they were charging a very jacked up cover charge, so could have been about that maybe.

I avoid talking about politics or religion with anyone that I don't know extremely well. Especially a strip club. 2 months ago I was in the Diamond Club in Atlanta and talking with a dancer that looked middle eastern. She tried to bring up politics by asking me which way I was oriented and I simply told her that I don't discuss politics in clubs. She got that last word in by telling me she was republican.

Strippers generally don't seem to get into politics. Conservatives think they're immoral, liberals think they're victims. Few if any politicians want to improve their situation. Almost all politicians want to take away their source of income, for one reason or another.

Never witnessed political arguments in club. One club owner (Joe Redner, Mons Venus) ran for office of several occasions, usually City Council. I saw campaign material in club. For entertainment, type in "Redner vs Katz" in YT search. In that clip, Joe Redner had a chair thrown at him by opponent Tony Katz.

One time a stripper sat down at my table uninvited. She asked me what I did for a living and I told her I worked for the army in accounting. She then volunteered that she had a brother in the army who had been sent to Iraq and asked me what I thought of the war. I offered my opinion we shouldn't be invading them and engaging in a long term occupation. I said they liked their ways and were unlikely to look kindly on attempts to force American ways on them. She disagreed vehemently and we got into an argument about it. Even though I disagreed with her, I ended up doing a couple lap dances with her. I thought it was somewhat admirable to risk alienating me and losing a possible lap dance sale in order to defend a political belief she had strong feelings about.

One dancer at Desires no longer speaks to me because during a discussion about race I apparently made a face when she was eulogizing George Floyd. She asked why I didn't feel sorry for him and I told her he was a piece of shit violent asshole who caused his own death. Probably should have lied, but that's what he was.

A hoe working a club is basically a skinhead and her boyfriend even has neonazi tattoos. SS tattooed on the back of his head. Swastikas on his knuckles. Most of her tricks are Black and Mexican 😭😭😭 then there's a cokehead club manager who loves Trump. A gilf stripper hoe with 7 kids by 7 different baby daddies who does double dates with her daughter and manages her...and preaches trumping.

Once. A dancer in a Brooklyn club, after a few minutes of random conversation, said to me "I bet you voted for Trump, didn't you?" in an accusing tone after she learned I was from FL. I said "you bet your ass I did and I couldn't be happier. He lowered my taxes and cut the crap with the regulatory agencies that kept their bootheels on the economy. We're all better off because of what he's done. Even clubs are getting busier again." Needless to say, she stormed away in a huff. Just another young NYC snowflake.

I follow several local dancers on Instagram, and many of them are or have become political. I'm not sure how smart it is to to broadcast your political beliefs to potential customers, but that's another topic. I would say that the club shutdowns during 2020 (a) made otherwise non-political dancers suddenly political, and (b) pushed several of them towards the right. The COVID shutdowns directly affected their lifestyle and income, so it's not wacky for them to react that way. What is disappointing is that a fair number of those dancers also post a lot of what we'd call "Anderson-esque" crazy pants conspiracy-level politics. So, it seems that a fair percentage of them get their politics from memes and social media. It is what it is. That said, I was chatting with a dancer at Club Desire who is a news junkie and political. I mentioned how dancers had seemed to become more political and right-leaning because the shutdowns hurt their income. She quietly observed that if a dancer let the shutdowns impact their income, it was because they were lazy, dumb, or both. She also noted that there's a lot of people on the political/social right who would like to shut down strip clubs permanently, and not just during pandemics. She's not wrong.

Politics are a third-rail topic stripper-or-not, but anything w/ strippers involved can often be extra-volatile (of course this does not apply to all strippers, like our beloved @nicespice; etc) – many dancers are young and thus self-centered as many young-people can be; and IME many dancers often don’t take opposing-views very-well. I generally avoid talking politics face-to-face strippers or not – politics, race, and religion, are often hot-button topics that are often best left-alone except in some specific circumstances. I def would never bring up politics w/ a stripper, or in most circumstances stripper or not – if someone brings it up, I may engage depending how well I know the person – w/ strippers I would move the convo to something else or just not engage and maybe just nod-and-smile. But sometimes I allow myself to be dragged-in – I imagine it’s happened more than once, but the only I recall at the moment was back in 2015 with the Michael Brown issue in Ferguson – I was at a black-dive w/ an ebony-dancer that I had known a couple of years and been with multiple-times – she tells me something along the lines of how fucked-up Brown’s murder was – I should’ve just nodded-and-smiled and proceeded to strip-club-business, but I just told her what I thought which was in essence that Brown was not a victim – she looked at me w/ a kinda stunned-look and didn’t say anything for about 2-seconds; I guess she thought me being into black-women I’d see things as she did as an AA-person; IDK – but she realized we didn’t see things the same-way and that it was no-use talking about it any longer and ruining the reason we were both there at the club that night, so she quickly changed the subject to more typical SC stuff like “so how you been doing?” etc – she was actually pretty-street-smart and was a bit-older in her late-20s and knew how to carry herself in the club.

I dont talk politics much, hence sometimes here as an outlet. But if a gal approached me and started on biden/Bernie/Etc id ask her this: "How about this. At the end of the shift all the girls turn in their money to the house mom. The house mom takes a huge cut of the total and then redistributes the money equally among ALL the dancers. *Wait for sour face* Oh you dont like socialism? Youre a republican and you dont even know it. Shouldve voted for the guy that doesnt shit himself!"

I think there was a discussion about whether customers chat with other customers in strip clubs recently. When I club, I’m checking out what’s happening on stage, or I’m chatting with the dancer sitting next to me. If there’s a political shit show starting nearby - I will get as far away as possible. Strippers can cause stupid guys to act very dumb - but politics can create a very different level of intensity and stupidity! I don’t care about the political leanings of anyone in the club. The less they share - the better. I know that I’m not sharing already.
